I am so tired of this piece of junk popping up over and over again whenever I try to find an online alphabetizer on Google. I guess it does fine for some people, but, hey, I happen to have a list of band names that aren't neatly broken down into one name per line (and since when are long lists of things invariably formatted into one entry per line, anyway? WTF??). The morons who programmed this piece of crap don't seem to have taken into account the fact that some lists aren't formatted into tidy little bite-sized pieces that their piece of crap formatter can handle.

The only other online alphabetizer I was able to find looks good, but doesn't work. You put in your next, and click the button, and the page just sits there, with an "error on page" popping up. Nothing you do can make it work.

For some reason, the nimble minds at Microsoft seem to have overlooked the fact that people might want to do something to text in their documents referred to as "alphabetize." The ony way to achieve it is some typical Microsoft-style anti-intuitive kludge that requires using the Table (hello. my text is not in a table, isn't formatted as a table, has absolutely nothing table-like about it) and then the "Sort" functions. And, of course, being Microsoft, these functions are loaded down with other mysterious, anti-intuitive options one is REQUIRED to select and adjust before the "Sort" function will operate. Naturally, what this all means is that Microsoft Word can't alphabetize text for shit. Or, in other words, like most things Microsoft, it doesn't perform its intended function properly. I guess if I had a few hours more to waste fumbling through their misnamed "Help" areas I might be able to somehow get it to work ...

What with the time I wasted in Word, and then on Google, and then on that stupid piece of junk utility that everyone seems to be so excited about, I've now wasted an entire half an hour trying to alphabetize a list of about 400 band names that could be done in half a second if there were any geniuses out there interested in providing an "Alphabetizer" that actually works. I could have done it by hand by now.

What a complete moronic waste of time and energy. This is why I hate computers.
